Even before Covid began impacting our community, we sensed that God was directing us to mix things up with our traditional Gathering format, of tables around the church. We felt that God was asking us to move more towards SMALL - - towards life - on - life connection in deeper ways. So when Covid arrived we were ready because we had already planned to transition away from our large group gatherings. Just as early as the early church met in small numbers so we look forward to gathering together throughout our community.
Not only does this provide us with flexibility of schedule but also with flexibility on which table we'd like to join.
Especially in this season, this is a way that we can care for each other more personally, with more intention and hear with more clarity what God might be teaching us.
It is our prayer that we will experience grace, openness, understanding, along with gentleness and belonging.
As we walk a road that seems uncertain and unknown may we experience, and be evidence, the fruits of the Spirit with one another.
May love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control be our hallmark.
May we remember James' important words to a church that in it's own time was facing dispersement and the challenge of discerning hard issues in their faith:
"My dear brothers and sisters understand this: everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger" James 1:19
May we gather as safe harbors, striving to be humble, open-minded and open-hearted as we grow together through differences and through similarities knowing that the Body of Christ is made up of a tapestry of believers who see Christ with whole hearts.
May we extend a gentle heart to those who need, above all else, the anchor of hope and the peace found in Christ.
We would love to connect! Please fill out the form, below, for more information.
